Everyone has the right to live in a clean and attractive home. Unfortunately, this is not a reality for a retired federal United States Postal Service employee named Gene. At 80 years old, Gene has suffered a stroke and experiences chronic fatigue and depression which has prevented Gene from keeping up with the daily maintenance of her home.
Following a routine plumbing call, Gene’s home has been labeled a level 5 hoard and biohazard risk–unsuitable for living. While Gene mentions that she doesn’t want to “be a burden to others”, the community has stepped up to help Gene get the home she deserves through biohazard clean-up completely for FREE!
If there’s anyone who deserves it, it’s Gene. Not only did she give her heart and soul to the community working as a United States Postal Service employee for over 30 years, but Gene enjoys using her talent for knitting to make hats for newborns in the local hospital. As someone who’s spent her life looking out for others, it’s time we band together as a community and support Gene, so she can enjoy her retirement in a house that finally feels like home.
At 911 Hazmat Cleanup we’ve partnered with the community and other property restoration companies in the Sacramento County area to bring Gene home biohazard-free. With a donation for bio-remediation and deep cleaning services, it’s our goal to improve Gene’s property by removing clutter and providing professional cleaning and disinfection.
Operation Help Bring Gene Home For Free is going strong and is scheduled to continue through May 1, 2021. With daily work schedules from 9 am-4 pm, there are plenty of opportunities to help Gene out by offering your time, supplies, and/or monetary donations.
At 911 Hazmat Cleanup we believe that no one should be left behind, which is why we are proud to offer hoarder clean-up and hoarder cleaning to Ripon, CA, Sacramento, San Francisco, and the surrounding areas.
